PBB Build failed: Could not remove existing resource

Okay I have arrived at the other side of the PBB learning curve.. docx file prepared .. Check...

Added appropriate resource links ... check...

Finally to a finish point.. NOW I get a

Build Failed.. could not remove existing resource...

Yes I see others have got this error.. but I have shut down everything and restarted... still a build fail.

I feel like Dora on finding NEMO.. just keep swimming.. keep swimming..\\

1. Where did the base text for your .docx file come from? (i.e. was it a document that you typed up completely from scratch in a current version of word, or was it something that you found elsewhere?)

2. If you .docx file isn't particularly large, you could upload it here for others to take a look at.

Did you build it twice and had the first resource open when you re-build it?

Are you running the latest version of L4? There was an error with automatically deleting the old PB when rebuilding it, but this has been fixed, I think.

This error occurs less frequently but it can be difficult to resolve when it does happen. If the PB was involved in a Search that is part of your Layout, the Search will be performed on a restart so it is best to perform a search on another resource before you restart. Do similarly for Guides. Then restart L4 and compile the PB first.

Okay I tried the ideas you all listed.. and still was getting the error.

The text from this was copied from a document I already had. I have done this with 2 other documents already so this 3rd one gave a problem.

The solution for me was just RE-adding a PBB book. A long way around to fix this, but I am not attempting to do this regularly though it sure is nice.
