ranking search terms
Hi all
When the search ranking comes up for a word/phrase search is there anyway to make the highest ranking appear at the top? At the mo it's a bit random with higher ranks lower down the list. I am using Windows and Mac Logos

Very interesting question.
The wiki entry- http://wiki.logos.com/Detailed_Search_Help#Changing_the_sort_order - suggests that it is to do with the "highest concentration of hits" or in other words the density of occurrence of the search term.
Bob Pritchett explained the ranking algorithm (as it was in May 2010) at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/14466/111267.aspx#111267.
I think this all means that you can't change the behaviour but hopefully it will explain it a little better!

So it looks like By Count is the method I need to select. Will reads Bobs bit later
