I was wanting to see if anyone has used an iPad or iPhone to control the Proclaim presentation. If so did it go well?
Hi John,
We have used the remote app on an iPad for the past six services (am and pm). Proclaim crashed at the desktop end during the first service, but, since then, has been stable. The app tends to log out of control mode couple of times each sermon, but, once you get used to logging back in, it is not too distracting (the congregation wouldn't know unless I told them).
Switching off sleep mode and locking the iPad in portrait mode improve the experience.
On balance, the app shows great potential and I find it really helpful to be able to control the presentation while preaching.
It just takes a little practice and patience with regards to the odd instability.
Andy
Thanks Andy! Excellent info.
we tried it one sunday and it was ok, a little unpredictable as to how long it would take to switch slides though.
