Copy as URL & Preview.app

I apologize if this "bug" affects only a small number of us, but as this particular issue is affecting my "routine," I figured I'd check to see if anyone had any ideas:
I'm running OS X Lion. Previously, I was able to "Copy as URL" any location in Logos, and paste it as a hyperlink using the annotations feature in Preview.app. (As shown below)
After several months, when I tried to do this tonight, I found that not only were my new links not working, but any of the hyperlinks that worked previously were not working. I recognize that the change could be because of the operating system upgrade, but also because of newer Logos versions. Unfortunately, I don't know which.
So: Has anyone else had this issue? (Or even tried doing what I'm doing?) and does anyone have any ideas for fixing it?
Thanks for your attention. I know it seems minor, but it was *really* handy for use when teaching Hebrew. I could have a PDF outline up on the board and simply click certain words and Logos would pop up with a definition or morph search or whatever. I'm sure I'll figure out another way, but any advice would be appreciated.

Welcome [:D] Apology not needed. Appropriate post for Logos 4 Mac discussion.

Wondering if OS X Lion recently updated ? Also wondering if have tried clicking link in Preview with Logos 4 Mac already open ?
Curious about OS X Lion and Logos 4 Mac versions ?
Thought crossing mind about recent OS X security updates (trying to prevent mischief from malformed URL's).

Wonder about creating a Personal Book using Logos 4 Mac ? Primary new feature in stable Logos 4.3 release.
Wiki => Personal Books includes syntax for adding links. Possibility: have Personal Book open in a Logos 4 Mac (perhaps floating window), click link (or click other items in Logos 4 Mac: e.g. Favorites or shortcut bar icon).

Apologies: using Preview in Mac OS X 10.6.8, unable to add a link to a test PDF containing one screen shot image (can highlight an area for an annotation, but not have URL pop-up).
Keep Smiling [:)]

As I mentioned above, I haven't composed materials this way in a couple of months. I know for a fact that both Lion and Logos has updated several times since then. So, yes, definitely.

Yes, I have tried it both with Logos opened and closed.
Curious about OS X Lion and Logos 4 Mac versions ?
Whoops, sorry for the oversight:
Running Mac OS 10.7.2 and Logos 4.3 SR-6 (4.30.0.1613).

Certainly an alternative that I'll consider if I can't make this work. I have browsed the wiki and am familiar with the process. I was partial to how quick and streamlined my previous option was (allowing me to combine pdf documents I don't have in .docx format), but I appreciate the suggestion.

I used to do this on 10.6, so I know it works. You'll have to have your annotation toolbar turned on / activated. You'll then have to select the hyperlink tool (looks like metal links, I think) and switch it from linking to a "page" to linking it to a "url" on the floating info pane. I would include screenshots, but Preview's annotation functions looks fairly different in the new version.
Thanks for your time! Appreciate it very much.

Using Mac OS 10.5.8 I was able to create the hyperlink, but it would not connect to Logos. The link shows up in the pdf doc, has the proper URL, but nothing happens when I click on the link.

Jack: Thanks so much for testing that. Knowing that you're having trouble in previous operating system suggests to me that the change is due to Logos upgrades, rather than the OS upgrade. I appreciate the information!
