David Barton - Original Intent

I really would like to get Original Intent by Barton in Logos, but currently the only way is to purchase the entire Wallbuilders Collection.  As much as I would love to own the entire set, $400 is more than I realistically could spend right now.  Is there any way that Logos could sell this book individually?  Is that decision set by the publisher?

Thanks.

I really do wish that Logos could/would break up more collections. I would really enjoy having N.T. Wright's Bible for Everyone Series in Logos format but there is no way I can buy his whole collection of books in Logos just to get the series. I have his "Hebrews for Everyone" in paper format and am really enjoying it.

I'd love to be able to get these as well. I would also like to be able to buy the NICOT/NT commentaries individually, as I 'll never need (or be able to afford) the whole set, but would really value being able to buy one individually when I am working on a particular book, as you can do with the Word commentaries.

So I assume that it is the publishers that control if a collection can be broken up?

That is the BIG question. It could be because of a contract with the publisher or it could be Logos' decision. Logos does not normally release these details, probably because of the competition in the field. I think though, that sometimes they will make concessions to certain publishers just to get their products into Logos.

I just spoke with Wallbuilders and Original Intent is available in Kindle.  They are working making it available in an Epub format to work with more ebook readers.  I'm not sure if that will work with Vyrso, but I suggested they make it available for Logos too.
