Home Page

The Home Page in Logos 4 is one big mess. I would like to move things around in the main area but I can't seem to. Also, I would like to hide certain devotionals or at at least put the one I want on the first page and not have it on page 3. Are any of these things possible? Thanks!

You can rearrange things on the blue ribbon by clicking customize in the bottom left corner and dragging the top section items around.

For devotionals I'm not certain but I think it respects your prioritization settings, and will prefer your higher rated devotionals. It's worth a try.

A 1 star devotional still appears well before my 5 star devotional. I loved how I can make the Logos 3 page just the way I want. This seems to extremely lack in 4. I'm not so concerned about the ribbon arrangement. It is the main white area that looks like something my 2 year old got into and arranged. [;)]

I don't think the star ratings affect anything at all (in terms of priority). I'd expect them to at least affect the library rank, but they don't seem to. I think the preferred list is the main (only?) tool for ranking resources, and it does work for the devotional order on the homepage.

I added the devotional I wanted to the preferred list but it still was listed towards the end. So I added the one that appears first to the list but at the bottom. That didn't work either. It sounds like you got it to work Todd? Am I doing something wrong? Are you able to post a screenshot?

I finally got it to work with the priority list. Closing and opening the program did not work. It only changed the order for me after I started turning off and on features for the home page from the customize menu.

Would not ave even noticed prioritize if you didn't point it out. Continue to learn...Will I ever feel like I have a firm grip on Logos 4? I have been underusing it's potential!
