If you're not familiar with Duane Smith, you'll find him on the intros to two of the Ras Shamra OT parallels.
Duane has also discussed the wisdom of Logos' Ugarit collection, which is interesting (though he DID find Logos' cross-referencing to indeed be powerful).
On the latter point, I sure didn't expect Logos' Claremont to be cross referenced to Gordon > Ugarit Philology (notes). Wow.
And if you're not a Ugar-ite, he bounces all over a wide range of archaeology.
I only brought this up from going thru the Claremont resource and then running into Duane Smith's discussion of 1957.2. He's quite fun to read.
