Nook Tablet

I have not seen anyone raise question about this Tablet so I guess I will. Does any one know if Logo's app will be available for the Nook Tablet?

Let me preface my comments by saying that I am a Mac fanboy and do not have any Android devices. I also do not have any insider knowledge from Logos.
The problem with Android is that it is fragmented. There are too many companies, making too many devices, running too many versions of Android. To make it worse, the best selling Android tablets do NOT run stock Android (Fire & Nook). I can't imagine that Logos will make a Nook specific version... you will have to get the Android version to work.
To answer your question... Recently there was much fanfare over the Kindle Fire. Despite the enthusiasm, my advice was to be cautious. As it turns out, the fire CAN run the Logos app, but it is Jerry Rigged. It is not as simple as downloading it from the Amazon Android Store. On the positive side, the new Nook is considerably better hardware (especially in the 16GB HD & expansion memory slot). On the negative side, I would trust Amazon more than B&N to handle the OS.
If you want the Nook, buy the Nook. If you are wanting the Nook primarily for Logos, you had better wait. If the Nook turns out like the FIre, the Logos app will run on it, but it will not be as simple as downloading it from an App Store directly to the device.
