Can I search only "My Content?"

Sometimes I want to find a comment in one of my notes and the only way I know how to do this is to search my entire library. Is there a way I can set the search parameters to search only my content?

Due the speed of Logos' search capabilities this is not a major issue, but I was wondering if it was possible.

It depends on what version of Logos you are using.

It is not available on the stable release (4.3) but is in the 4.5 Beta.

From the release notes (for 4.5B1):

Search

Added a “My Content” search range to Basic Search, which searches Documents, Guides, and Personal Books.

i am running 4.3S4r3 and you can

1. Select MyTag

1a. Select Entire Library

1b. Select Basic

2. Notice that My Content is populated, also notice that My Books and Library Results have not hits.

Presumably the entire library is still searched but just doesn't come up with any hits?

i would guess no the entire library isn't searched since it shows 0 hits. i am positive that Romans would have been found in many many books. So it would appear that this tag restricts things to MyContent. But as you pointed out this method will be redundant when 4.5 is released.

I am just intrigued that the zero hits on the library took a short time (not zero) to return so it looks as though something is going on!

I know this is an old thread, but I just discovered today that they've added the ability to restrict your search to just My Content! Hallelujah!

They did it a while back (at least as far back as January, when Francis noticed it). But I only discovered it today. Had to shout about it!
