Setting a default style (MLA or APA) for Clippings?

I have MLA set as my default style in Program Settings, but when I use Clippings, they are set to APA and I have to change each one manually. Does this not use the default setting?

I concur. I see the same behavior and would like it to use my default - that's why I set a default.
