When the portion of the text shown includes a Biblical reference, it would be nice to have it be a hot link rather than having to bring up the reference itself to follow the link.
They do. I could give some reference which not all might have so I'll pick one in Matthew Henry's Commentary since most have that. Go to Ex 34.5-9. Toward the bottom of the page you will see Jdg. 10:16; Isa. 63:9. Click on one of them and the passage should come up in your preferred bible.
I obviously didn't bribe the right programmer ...
No indication of links and don't work as links. However, they do work as links in the source resources.
Don't you love the terminology: source. resource, reresource (?)

I'm willing to accept a little baksheesh. [6] But then, I'm not the right one either (and I don't program). I didn't realize you were speaking of scripture references IN A SEARCH.
Actually, I should thank you for making me more specific - I assumed too much of what I was doing ... I should know better - no-contect, no fix
Not a full answer, I know, but during the Beta we asked for some of this on the home page, and it was explained a bit of all the overhead required to read all the book features. I think the same thing is happening here so it comes down to what do you want? Search results that display reasonably fast, or search results that have all the embedded links of full books?
