4.5 B7 Copy Bible Verse crashes

Had this happen three times tonight, and ended up just doing the old select, copy --> paste to app. The Copy Bible Verse tool was crashing Logos repeatedly.  I logged in with blank layout after it crashed twice with other things open, same results.  Entering a Bible verse range is OK, but switching the bible version is causing the crash (switching from BHS/WIVU to NIV), or trying to switch the target app, so the issue might be in the drop down menu stuff. The attached logs are from whin I opened Logos with a blank layout, entered verse range and then tried to switch the version.

I know this is not much help to you, but I cannot duplicate your problem no matter how many times I switch between versions.

I see that you are using 4.5 Beta 7, but which Mac OS? Perhaps this is OS specific. I am using 10.5.8 (stuck in the Dark Ages [8-|])

    Hi Doug

I have tried this with my set up and not had any problem switching bible versions.

It looks like you might need to post logs - see the wiki for instructions.

Beta testing is full of unintended consequences so perhaps it is no surprise that some things are failing in particular circumstances.

Another luddite holding back the development of the program - we want full screen buttons Jack get your finger out!

I have multiple applications that will not work with Lion and one that crashes under Snow Leopard. I have no need to spend money updating them when I can use those funds for more useful purchases such as more Logos resources [8-|]

BESIDES: I am not British—or even British descent—how can I be a Luddite?

Nothing to do with the Original Post but for Jack's edification.

BESIDES: I am not British—or even British descent—how can I be a Luddite?

Do you not know that there was a pan European conspiracy to gather all the malcontents in Liverpool and ship them off across the ocean.

Once we made sure that they were not going to get back easily we fermented rebellion and after  token resistance allowed them to declare independence.

Why do you think Americans are so argumentative?

    Blessings

Who? [:O] Remember, all Americans do not live in the US [8-|]

Looking at Logos4.log file, can see Copy Bible Verse opened in LLS:WIVUMORPH to Exodus 25:8, followed by sync upload and download.  However, file does not have a stack trace for a crash (seems a bit odd); wonder if console messages has any interesting entries ?

    Keep Smiling [:)]

OS 10.6.8. And I'm stuck here as well (MBP 1.1 Core Duo with a 2g memory limit - but I've produced two CD's - multi-track audio processing - on this machine :) )

Interestingly, just tried this and the first time I switched version I got the spinning beach ball, cooling fans kicked on for a bit, but then it stopped and the program is running fine and switching between versions with no lag.... I was also noticing that hovering the mouse pointer over an unselected version title in the drop down menu cause a flickering selection bar. Not sure if that means anything other than we in BETA land.
