Inline text display does not work with NIV bibles

Can I know is there a reason why the inline text display does not work with the NIV bibles?

Well, as you all know many of us are using the "Non infallible version" these days so yeah..,hoping it will work with NIV to make my life easier instead of jumping to another version for the sake of inline text referencing.

Hi Joshua - and welcome to the forums.

By "inline text display" do you mean the reverse interlinear information showing details of original language words and morphology?

If so, then the answer depends on which version of the NIV you have and whether you are looking at the Old or New Testament.

The NIV(84) has reverse interlinear for New Testament only. The NIV(2011) does not have any reverse interlinear capability as yet.

Logos are certainly working on adding RI capability to the NIV(2011), not sure of what will happen in terms of Old Testament RI capability for NIV(84).

Joshua - Again, welcome to the forums! FYI - The star under Graham's Avatar (and mine as well) means that he is a forum MVP (volunteer) and does not work for Logos. If you see the Logos icon under an Avatar, that person is a Logos employee.

As far as the Reverse Interlinear goes... Creating a RI is not a quick or simple process. Thankfully, this has been under way for a while. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer.
