Reading View on the Mac Version

I would like to see the Reading View on the Mac version function more like the full screen views in writing programs like Scrivener, Write Room, and Ulysses.

These programs remove all distractions from the entire OS and allow you to set background and text colors.

You can customize:

Text Scale
Paper Position (Left, Right, Center)
Paper Width
Background Opacity
Background Color
Text Color

The ability to have that level of customization along with a floating highlighting palette like Scrivener's Inspector palette would be incredible.

Here is the deal breaker (not for me, but for a bunch of people in the windows beta group). Does it allow for 2 column reading?
