WOuldn;t it be nice if Logos 4 had more than 9 bookmarks? I have 3500 books and often have to save more than 9 places. It would also be great to see a right click option for saving a bookmark.
One way to get around the limit is to use named layouts instead. I keep a layout for each book (or collection) I am studying. This way when I return, not only does the screen show me the place where I left off, but also the commentaries that applied to that book.
Have you tried to use Favorites in place of bookmarks?
Another approach is to save URL’s. When you are in a spot in a book which you would like to bookmark, press Ctrl-Alt-C to copy the URL. Then you can paste the URL into a Notes file or into something external to Logos (such as in a Word document containing lesson notes). To return to the book and location you bookmarked, if its in a Note file then Ctrl-click on the URL. If it’s in a Word document then copy the URL, and paste it into either the Logos Command bar, or your internet browser. This is more keystrokes or clicks than Logos bookmarks, but it gives you an unlimited number. I actually use URL’s a lot in Word documents to document the source for something I’m putting into Word.
