I have a couple of questions about starting Logos 4.

1. How do I start with a blank page? (loading resources and particularly the home page is painfully slow, and the latter is not blank even with all the customise option off)
2. I like the passage study when started from the Home page .. what command would I use to start that layout without waiting for the home page?

1 How do I start with a blank page? (loading resources and particularly the home page is painfully slow, and the latter is not blank even with all the customise option off)

Customize (bottom left of homepage) has an option for Show Hompage at Startup. Uncheck this option (lowest one), and instead of starting with the homepage, Logos 4 starts up with the layout you used last.

2. I like the passage study when started from the Home page .. what command would I use to start that layout without waiting for the home page?

Open the Passage Guide (from Guides on the top toolbar.)
Drag the Passage Guide title onto the blank space to the right of the command box.
This creates a shortcut to the Passage Guide, you can open it with a single mouse click.
(And, if the PG was open when you closed Logos 4 last, it will open again anyway.)
