Randall ... I can't speak to your specific situation. But a couple days back, I had a similar situation (0% for a while). However the hard-drive and cpu's were working hard and eventually it finished. I'm guessing the %completion can periodically get mixed up. Depending on your library, I'd let it continue for a while, before getting super-worried (in my case a couple hours).
what you just said was my issue seems to be done now.
