Share your experience with Logos on android tablet

I'm looking to buy a tablet pc preferably one that I can fit in my pocket such as a 7" tablet although I am open to other options. I would like to hear from people who are using a tablet especially how Logos runs on it since this will be a major factor in my decision to buy.

Tim - I do not use PC or Andriod, but want to make you aware of a couple of things. First, "Logos 4" does not run on Andriod... but there is a mobile app. You should be aware that the two programs are not identical. Second, you said "Tablet PC" in your thread, but in your subject line you wrote "android tablet." There are some tablets which run windows. When you write "tablet pc," I believe that you really mean an android tablet, rather than a windows (PC) tablet. Am I understanding you right?

Currently Logos mobile app on iOS has more features than Android app; parity is planned for Android app.

Yes. I am thinking about getting an android tablet that is easy to take with me wherever I go and runs the logos program for android. But I am also open to the option of a tablet that runs windows and would be able to handle the Logos program for windows. I should have labled the subject as experience with tablets running either Logos for windows or Logos for android tablets. My ignorance of this subject is showing but that is why i want to hear from others such as yourself. THanks.

Logos 4 Mac and PC has many more features than mobile app. Apple has MacBook Air models that were refreshed in July 2011; certified refurbished models seldom in stock => http://store.apple.com/us/product/FC969LL/A and => http://store.apple.com/us/product/FC965LL/A that have 4 GB RAM. In MacBook Air models, RAM is surface mounted to motherboard (need to swap motherboards to upgrade RAM).

In contrast, MacBook Air models have faster Solid State Disk (SSD).

The 13.6" models have 1600 x 900 screen resolution; if your handwriting is smallish, high density screen should be comfortable for use. Smallish handwriting can comfortably fit two lines of handwriting between lines printed 4 mm apart (essentially 2 mm or 1/6 th of an inch tall). For larger handwriting, may want to use program scaling in Logos 4 to increase font size (along with personalizing Windows to use larger fonts).

I'd probably steer clear of the Pandigital. I have one and while they are cheaper than some of the $300-400 ones, I've had my moments of frustration with them. Logos app does run on it, but unless something has changed, I choose to wait until I can get on my laptop with Logos rather than use the Android app.
