Am I missing something here on searching on Louw Nida Numbers?

It's been a long week and maybe I am missing something... I ran a search on a Louw Nida number on ESV and got no results:
Then I changed back to my old trusty NASB95 and got lots of hits.
Same exact search, but different resource. Is there something about the ESV that I am missing? Search works for NRSV, NIV, NKJV, etc, just not ESV.

It works fine on my Windows version (4.5 beta). If searching for another LN number also doesn't work, it might be worth hiding/unhiding your ESV to force a reindex of that resource.

No searches on LN numbers worked on ESV.
I put the ESV Bible as a hidden resrouce and then unhid it. Unfortunately, now the ESV is missing even though it doesn't show as hidden. Not a good development! Things are getting worse!

Problem solved — use the NA27. [;)] Sorry to hear about your problem. It's a puzzler. Does Logos know there are gremlins in the works? [^o)]

There's obviously something wrong with the ESV on your system. Restart, then try an 'update resources' in the command bar.

I got a whack of resources to update, so I'll have to wait next month when I am where I can get to high speed internet. In the meantime no ESV! [:(] Oh well, back to NASB95... and yes, NA27 is there as well! [:)]

Donovan - sorry to hijack your thread for a second, but...
SOAPBOX: Logos should end the use of the term "hide" to refer to deleting resources from your computer. A better term would be archive, which is really what happens to hidden resources... the license is kept for the user, but the resource is removed from the computer. It is not hidden at all. By the way, it would be nice to have HIDDEN resources, which would be like a reverse prioritization. All "hidden" resources would appear in a special, collapsed section. There when you need them, but out of the way most of the time. [End Soapbox/]

Ah, well, that explains everything then. (at least as far as not having ESV any longer) Wished I had understood this as I won't be able to download it again for another month!
My soapbox is that not everyone on the planet has a high speed internet connection!

That is why I got on my soapbox! It's one of my pet peeves, and I think Logos unintentionally misleads people (as you discovered).

I think I might be able to fetch it off my timecapsule and then manually scan it in. Any idea what the ESV file name is? This would be simpler than just copying the whole resource directory to scan for just one file.

You might be able to download it into LDLS (first sync licenses) then sync licenses again and close L4 and reopen. Might work — might not. the file is
ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks/esv.lbxlls
or for the (UGH!) reverse interlinear ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks/esvntrevint.lbxlls and ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks/esvotrevint.lbxlls

George - I know it was a personal sacrifice to give me the link to the interlinear. You are storing up treasures in heaven! [;)]
Seriously, thanks for the help!

Are you sure of that? I was thinking more on the lines of "Woe to those who cause one of the least of these to stumble." (This isn't an exact quotation from any version or even my own — it's more or less from memory).

Since scan command can specify path, may be able to use time capsule path (let Logos 4 Mac look at files and copy). If have enabled logging, scan command adds a path in Logos4.log; after restarting Logos 4 Mac, can watch Indexer.log to see what scan discovers, copies, and indexes.

Good news... I was able to find the ESV file, restore it to a directory on my desktop and use the Scan command to reinstate it. All is well at least as far as being able to use my ESV again.
The problem is that the original issue of being able to do a search for Louw Nida numbers still exists. In fact any kind of Morph searches are coming up with nothing. I rebuilt the index last night and may need to pay customer service a call today!

Can you select a word from the NA27, find the lemma and do a morph search on that in the NA27?

Wonder if ESV has 3 resources ? (like Bama posted earlier)
Apologies: using Logos 4.5 Beta 7 was unable to replicate:
Wonder about rebuild bible index command and/or diagnostic logs ?

I ran the 'rebuild bible index' command and there was no change... not only can't I search for Louw Nida numbers, but greek and therefore no morph searches work either. Do the exact same search on NASB95, no problems.
So I guess I'll be paying the folk at logos support a call to find out the mystery to this. I am not sure when it broke as I have been busy and haven't run searches for a bit. At least I have my ESV Bible back as this is my primary English bible text.
