WHY can we not copy a word on the screen?

WHY can we not copy a word on the screen?
Steps Taken:
Open the KJV 1900 [The Holy Bible: King James Version, Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version., Ga 2:16–17]
Open the Interlinear [Clicking the interlinear icon]
Reference GAL 2:16
Click on the word ‘justified’ in “man is not justified by the”
In a study that I am doing I want to paste the Greek work here used [‘δικαιόω’]
So I move the mouse down into the interlinear section and highlight the Greek word
Something is wrong – it will not highlight [and therefore I cannot copy it with crtl-c]
OK – program limitation. So I Right Click it and find that other copies of the same word are, also, not highlightable. So I click on Bible Word Study. The word is all over the place but none are highlightable.
So I move the mouse to the Lemma [dictionary] section and select a dictionary
Now that a dictionary is open I can finally highlight that word and copy it so that I could paste it above

WHY can we not copy a word on the screen? Because:
Logos 4 paints the letters on the screen in a graphic mode. They do not use the normal print to screen functions. Therefore only screens where they thought that we would want to copy from have copy as text ‘turned on’. And then came the users that wanted to copy from elsewhere!

If you want to copy "δικαιόω", simply right-click on the word 'justified' (in the main Bible text or in the interlinear panel), choose 'lemma δικαιόω' from the right-hand menu, and then 'copy' from the left hand menu.

Well, I'm probably badly violating the forum guidelines, the Logos4's main competitor allows copying freely (Libronix of course).
Bob's still trying to catch up with those geniuses at Libronix Inc.

This aspect of Logos 4 is one of my favorites (sorry Denise) since I look at it as my personal "vending machine" for copying.
I highlight a word, a sentence, paragraph, verse or multiple verses and then RIGHT CLICK on the selection area.
I now have my "vending machine" copy selections of
SELECTION(just what is highlighted),
REFERENCE (whole verse),
MANUSCRIPT(actual word used),
LEMMA (dictionary version of the word),
MORPH (information on the form of the Greek/Hebrew word)
(Other Lexicon definitions)
Why would I want to be limited to just the screen when I can have a large set of choices?

The "geniuses at Libronix Inc" use the normal print to screen functions. Bob's Group at Logos 4 have the advantage of speed and control [the resources look much more like the dead tree versions] but can not copy and paste.

Well, Douglas, you DO have a few good points. But the reason I originally bought the competing product (Libronix) was its ability to copy lines of interlinear for more detailed examination and comparison. Here's the LXX gloss line from Amos:
1 this: 3 says 2 (The) Lord 1 "For the three impieties of Moab and for — four not 2 I will turn away, 1 it 3, — — they burned the bones of (the) king — of Idoumaia to dust., 2 So I will send fire against Moab, and it will devour (the) foundations — of cities 1 its 2, and will die 2 by 3 inability 4 Moab 1 with shouting and with sound of trumpet,, 3 and I will destroy utterly (the) judge from it,, and all — rulers 2 its 1 I will kill
