crash when searching

When I perform a bible search the program crashes / hangs. I booted into safe mode and performed the same search with no issues. The program actually ran much faster as well in safe mode.
During the search the grid layout works fine but when I switch over to verse layout it hangs showing only x number of results in x number of verses and does not show the results. At this point the program becomes unresponsive.
I have completely uninstalled the program and reinstalled twice with same outcome.
I am using a Samsung Series 7 tablet with these specs...
Intel® Core™ i5-2467M Processor
4GB Ram
Intel® HD Graphics 3000
Here are my logs...
Couple screen shots...
Thanks for the help!

Neither log shows the required information.
How did you uninstall/reinstall?
Ensure that logging is still enabled --> http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
Start L4 and run the same OT Search in ESV - Grid layout & Verse layout
Close L4 and upload logos4.log and any crash log.

I used the uninstaller. After uninstall I deleted the Logos 4 folder that contained all the resources, settings, etc.
To reinstall I went back to the logos website and downloaded the installer and did a complete new download and index.
I set logging on and ran the same search. he first time in the grid view which worked fine. I then switched to verse view and the program froze.
I attached the Logos 4 log. It did not generate an error log. There also is no errors in the event viewer.

I'm afraid I could not learn anything from the log. It would be best to contact Logos Technical Support as they can get onto your computer to diagnose the problem.

I have been troubleshooting a little more on this.... I went into msconfig and deselected all services and start up programs and rebooted. I then ran a new morph search and it returned results immediately without any problems. I then slowly re-enabled services a couple at a time until I found the service that was causing the morph search to hang and lock up Logos.
The culprit---- "Windows Event Log"
I can't make sense of why this would cause the morph search to hang. Any ideas? Are there any dependencies on the event log that might not be starting either that could be the root cause?

This is started automatically by default and has not caused problems on my Win 7 system (nor with any other system I've had). When started what other symptoms are evident e.g. increased CPU or disk activity? Try putting the service as a Manual (or Delayed Automatic) startup.

I agree it works on other windows7 machines. I have a desktop that gives me no problems.
I did see that when I disable windows error log that it also ends up disabling "task manager". I tried just disabling the task manager but the system will not let me. This leads me to think that there is some dependancy that is also disabled when I disable the error log that is actually causing the problem.
I will keep digging.... I am open to suggestions... Thanks.

I did suggest to look for other symptoms when that is started. You may have to go back to disabling all services to see the effect of starting Event Log because you need to see what other services also started because it was the remaining dependency. OTOH if you start over, and don't use the same sequence, you may find another service that causes the problem.

narrowed down to a program called macro express found here...
I have the program running in the background with no macros active. as soon as i disable the program the morph search works without any problems. Any ideas as to the conflict?

I don't have the program, so can't comment. I suggest you send an email to Customer Support outlining your findings (quote this thread) as they might know about it. Otherwise it will help other users with the problem.

Personally not have system wide macro program, which wants to hook into every program.
Libronix 3 has a display issue with a "hook" program active => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/43716/327089.aspx#327089
Found an older Microsoft forum discussions about Macro Express crashing a WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) application: => http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/wpf/thread/9d5a52c1-be76-4525-8894-79735596195b
Logos 4 uses WPF; personally not know if Macro Express plays nice with WPF.
Keep Smiling [:)]
