Unhide resources?

I moved the 1890 Darby Bible to a hidden resource. Then I decided to unhide it. I right clicked and selected unhide. I restarted Logos 4 and it still doesn't appear in my library. It also doesn't appear in my appdata resource folder.

Am I doing something wrong?

Also none of my other hidden resources appear in my appdata resouces folder. It almost seems like when I hide the resources, they were deleted.

Yes...they were actually deleted when you hid them....

And wait about 10-60 minutes before you panic...it can take a while...

Logos was unsure if you'd take "delete" as "gone and never coming back" so they opted for the familiar nomenclature of v3....they assumed you'd never ask the question....you did...

And they are ONLY deleted off of YOUR machine..but not your account of course so "half way deleted" would have been even more accurate...

Thanks for your quick assistance. You are correct. Logos just re-downloaded Darby.

I did another experiment and hide the Woman's Study Bible. Then I clicked the X next to it on the Hidden Resource panel. It disappeard from the Hidden Resource panel list. However it also re-downloaded during the update.

This going to take a little getting used to.

Sorry, I'm still a little confused.

When you right click a hidden resource, the popup says "Unhide Delete". "Delete" is in a smaller font. Why is the word "Delete" in the popup?

When the question was asked at beta stage Bob Pritchett responded: Bob said:

The command is "Remove", and it removes the resource from the Hidden Resources list. (This is confusing; it should probably be "Unhide resource".)

The "Delete" is the keyboard shortcut; it's in the same font we use for "F1" on the Help menu, etc.

In fact when the command was "remove" (in Beta) it has now been changed to "Unhide". The same action can apparently be carried out using the delete key when it is selected.

I dont think it does physically delete unless it came in in SR4-5, I hid 20 and based on this unhid them, no download, they are in the library, I think it might just set a flag in the database

Based on my experience, the resources are actually deleted from your hard drive when you "hide" them. I searched for all of my hidden resources in my appdata resources folder and they are gone.

As a test, after I "unhide" 2 of the resources, they were re-downloaded.
