Including Scripture highlights in Clippings Content

I'm trying to get more use out of my L4 investment and so I'm producing my notes for classes in L4. So far it seems that clippings work the best... I can print the full text to a PDF or paper to use and then include my notes for teaching/discussion under each clipping. What I'd like to be able to do though is include any highlights I have in the text in my notes/clippings. As far as I can tell any highlighting I've done in Scripture isn't carried over into clippings at all. Is that correct? Is there a better way to do this... capturing segments of scripture and notes/questions for expository style teaching?
