For a Bible search, the header lets us define search parameters:
- Fields (typically 'All Bible Text')
- Range (typically 'Whole Bible')
- Resources (typicaly 'Top Bibles')
#1 has a Find box at the top when dropped down. #3 has a Search box at the top when dropped down. This suggestion is a request for a Find or Search box for #2 when dropped down.
As it is, I have to scroll through all the ranges to find the one I want. It would be much quicker if I could start typing the name of a Bible book (or a saved range name) rather than scroll through all the entries to find the one I want each time.
I imagine most of us have a range for each Bible book as well as larger ranges (Pentateuch, History, Poetry, Prophets, Gospels, Luke/Acts, Pauline, Johannine, Pastoral letters, ...) and smaller ones (Ex 21-40, Jn 13-17, ...) -- probably 60 - 100 ranges. This makes it quite slow to pick from the list with no Find box.
(Part of the issue here is that we cannot specify ad hoc ranges like we could in Logos 3, i.e. we have to save the range before we can use it.)
Not sure if it would be possible to have the Bible books automatically in the range list too?
