Bought as a gift, do I get a hard copy?
Hi, I bought the Logos Software for a gift for my Pastor and I am wondering if I will be getting a hard copy or if I have to download it and make the copy for him on a DVD or something?

Deborah - First, welcome to the forums! What a great gift! I am sure he will be thrilled.
The software can be ordered on a DVD, but they charge a little extra for it. Since the software is continually being updated, he will end up downloading it anyway at some point or another. The DVD would save time in downloading the resources. If he has a high speed internet connection, he could get up and running before you would receive the DVD. If you are giving this as a gift for Christmas, the DVD would save him time, but I don't think it is a big deal for someone with a good internet connection.
He can download the PC version HERE, and the Mac version HERE. The only thing I am unsure about it the account information. I am assuming that you used your email address. If so, this will need to be changed over to his email address. Once he installs the software (links provided above), he will use the account info (email address) to verify and download the resources.

Wiki has Getting Started with Logos => Installation + Indexing that has links to downloadable Logos 4 installers for Mac and PC.
Suggest connecting Pastor with Logos customer service so gift can be associated with Pastor's Logos.com account => http://www.logos.com/about/contact
