Question on creating library filter for prioritize resources and Persues

I am a bit rusty in my Greek, and I only studied Koine Greek, not Classical. I would like to be able to take better advantage of the textual search of the Classics in the Bible Word Study.

Here is what I am trying to do:

Create a filter like: publisher:Perseus language:English but I'm not sure how to exclude the Civil War and other English collections.
Prioritize those resources
Run textual search and hover over the Greek resource hyperlink and if available have the English Text pop up.

I know we can do this with the Bible is this possible with the Classics.

Perhaps you can get a definitive answer to your question from one of the people with a star under their icon. But until then perhaps this will give you more of what you want to do. I also was curious how to use Perseus effectively. So I created a collection that only included Greek works that had English translations and were only from the first and second century. Then if I am reading in my Bible (a reverse interlinear) and want to see context of a particular word from that collection, I would right click on the word and then select lemma and then perform a search. I would then change the morph search to a basic search and limit the search to my collection. Then at the end of the search syntax I would add a space then OR then another space and then I would pick an a common English word that the Greek word translates into and then add that word at the end of the syntax line and hit enter. Now in the results and have Greek texts and then the English translations staggered. I just look at the ones that go to the same location in the text and open them. And there before my eyes the Greek text has the Greek word of interest highlighted and the English translation has the corresponding English word highlighted. It doesn't get any better than that :-)

I started with this syntax for my first collection and removed the Greek works without an English translation.

Author list in collection looks similar to wiki => Example Collections "Texts: 1st-2nd Century CE" that also includes Josephus and Philo:

Wiki => Example Collections "Greek Texts: 1st-2nd Century CE" has rule (missing Josephus)

Language:Greek Author:(Apollodorus,Appian,Aretaeus,Aristides,Arrian,Epictetus,Galen,Lucian,Pausanias,Philo,Plutarch)

Note: Josephus and Philo are not part of Perseus collections (similar time frame for authorship).

Option: can search for Greek word, then open Greek Perseus resource that includes reference location, click "+" to search Logos library for resources with that reference, then click English Perseus resource, followed by arranging for side by side reading:

Personally started with morph search to enter g:doxa (select from drop down list) then switched to Basic Search (with automatic conversion of Greek lemma) so could search Greek Texts 1st-2nd Century CE

By the way, appears δόξης is translated as honor in Plut., Adversus Colotem 2 (used yellow highlighter for corresponding list of names in Greek and English bit earlier in passage).

It can be done with a little effort:

Click on the 'Classics' section of Textual Searches in BWS.
When the search window opens, switch to Analysis search.
To avoid all the duplicates, group by 'Reference' (the auto-tagging of Perseus makes it unusable in Analysis search, really).
Right-click and collapse all.

You'll get English hover text on the reference (assuming you haven't prioritised Greek over English). The disadvantage is that you won't see the Greek.

Thanks Mark, that really helps. I will still look at the Greek, but would like to also see English that way. I wish we could create prioritization by adding a collection.

The problem is not prioritisation, but how the 'verses' and aligned' searches work. They always gives absolute links to exactly what resource the result was found in. They don't give reference-type links which would be affected by prioritisation - which analysis search does.

By the way, you'll need to be alert to this bug. Don't hover on anything like "V4, p 330" in analysis view, or you'll crash Logos. Until it's fixed you might prefer to create your own collection, and then remove resources that cause the crash (just the Greek Anthologies, as far as I know).
