Suggestion: include Bible text in lectionaries on Biblia (and library.logos.com)

Lately, I have been trying to read the daily lectionary passages from the RCL Daily readings and/or the Daily Office readings using the web browser on my Kindle.

It mostly works... but unfortunately the web-based version of the lectionaries do not have the Bible text included with them. In order to read the passages, you have to click on the link, bring up the new page with the passage, and then go back to the lectionary to get the next passage, and so forth.

It's so much easier in Logos4 on my desktop, where my preferred Bible version text is included right in the lectionary resource.

Especially with a non-touch mobile device, it's a pain in the neck to have to keep clicking links and navigating around to get to the browser's back button, etc. And while Biblia's normal view will allow you to see the lectionary and the Bible side by side, it won't fit into my Kindle screen. So I have to use the mobile view.

Is there any way to get the Bible passages to show up in the Lectionary resources when viewing them online?

Eleanor, mine is working on my laptop. See pic. What are you using to view Biblia.com on? I do not have a mobile device to try it with.

Sorry that it took me so long to respond.

I use a kindle for mobile reading.

On the laptop, in standard view, you see the scripture in the column beside the lectionary. But in mobile view you only have the lectionary text. Again, in standard view when you hover over the links you see some of the Bible text pop up, but only the first few verses.

The trouble is that (at least on a kindle) it's hard to get standard view to show properly... especially to show both columns so you can click the links in the lectionary column and read in the scripture column.

And in mobile view, you can either see the lectionary or the Bible, so you have to keep navigating around to the links in the lectionary which take you to the bible, and then find the browser back button in order to get back to the lectionary to go find the link for the next passage. It's a lot of navigating around with the little directional controller.

If the Bible text were already in the lectionary (not in a pop-up, but as true text) then all that back and forth, navigating to links, and waiting for pages to load would be unnecessary.

Have you tried using library.logos.com instead of biblia.com? For mobile devices, it's sometimes more useful. (And it certainly handles Bible references differently to biblia mobile - still not intext, but .... different)

(I wish they'd just merge library.logos.com and m.biblia.com - it's a pain having to constantly check which one behaves better/provides what functionality!)

On library.logos.com the lectionaries display basically in the same way as the do on Biblia... with the lectionary information but without the Bible text.
