Does anyone know about this tagon that comes up whenever I try and log on to Logos?

My security system has a caution each time it comes up, but I find it impossible to get rid of.

I notice others have come up with the same problem as well.

It purports to come from logos.com but I can't see any possible reason why Logos should be linkeds in with it.

Thanks.

I'm pretty darn sure that Logos is using this service because retargeting me is exactly what has happened to me.

See here for an explanation of what it is (of course, they may retarget you for their service if you go there [:D] )

I would agree that is happening with Logos. Or maybe they just started a $1 billion advertising program. Upon retrospect, I like the idea because the Logos related ads are much more welcome than the ads that get bumped.

Arthur, when you say "logos" you mean the website and not the program correct?

    What browser are you running?

This is usually a trigger for a pop up ad and it might be somehow stuck in your cache which I recommend flushing and possibly running some reputable spyware remover software.

    [EDIT]

Ok yeah I agree with the others, its a service that will show you Logos ads on other websites with advertising.

The irony is that they show me ads for things I already own.. so much for "intelligent"!

I'm one of those that commented back a ways. Tracking on a site is smart for Logos - better service. The question is (1) could they please program Logos.com to handle the fetchback correctly; it gets mixed up on a go-back past the front page and (2) is it strictly inside Logos?

I've watched the cookies for a while; so far it doesn't look very consistent. I always clear pixel.fetchbacks and keep the other Logos cookies.

I find that flaw helpful in my sales resistance efforts. Black Friday bundles did not sway me any. That leaves me a little room for December sales. Let's hope there will be new specials.
