I and 5 others want to purchase CAMPLOGOS LIVE DVD so that we can have our own seminar and we need to know if this is okay with Logos.
Someone else will give you the other point of view, but if you had a few friends over to watch a movie you bought, would you contact the appropriate distributors first?
Morris is probably the one to contact, not Logos, but I am not sure.
This would be a question for Logos to answer (call sales), but it would certainly not be ok to install it on everyone's computer. Another option might be the academic version, which is geared towards being used in a public setting.
Thanks - I have sent Morris a post.
I did not know about an academic version. We just want to do what is right.

Perhaps you could post what you find out in this thread, so others will have a way to keep a clear conscience.
Here is the academic version. The video and product description strongly imply it was produced with classroom use intended. I believe it is probably out of bounds to present a seminar for paid attendees but your desired use is probably viewed differently. You will have to wait on Morris Proctor or Logos to get an official answer.
One other thing; I understand that Morris Proctor holds the rights to the Camp Logos Live DVDs and Logos holds marketing rights for the Academic Training. I recommend you speed up your discovery by sending a similar request to Logos. Then whichever party has the power to clarify proper usage or grant special permission can do so right away.

Spoke with the IT guy at a local Bible College yesterday. He said that the Academic version costs them $50.00 per student, but they are a Logos approved school, so YMMV.
It is possible Logos might offer the same rate for a small study group with prior approval.
so YMMV.
You learn something new everyday.

Pleased to be your source of extremely useful—or not—knowledge [H]
The only ones attending the seminar are the 6 who paid for the DVD's. We want to go at our own speed.
Yes, but I think it was assumed that you meant that only one set was purchased. They would be intended for personal use I would expect. We are just Logos users like yourself and cannot answer one way or the other.

I think there has got to be a difference between the two products in how the license applies.
We all agree you need to get your answer from the official horse's mouth.
