Hi

I've noticed today my Greek-English lexicon of the nt with semantic domains (Louw-nida) isn't linking properly. I've tried from the word study screen and the table of contents of the book itself. Im using logos on an iPod touch.

Thanks.

I was not aware the the problem would be specific to the iPod touch. If the problem is in the resource it self it seemed to me others would want to know.  My question also wasn't iPod specific but about a resource that also exists on pc and Mac versions of Logos.

So just to confirm: my L-N lexicon works fine on L4 for Windows under 32bit Win7 - both from its own ToC as well as from the Bible Word Study and (since it's my preferred Greek lexicon) directly with double click from the Greek New Testament text. Seems it's the iPod after all

Renee - Please be more specific (i.e. what are you trying to do? what steps are you using?) . Also, if you think that it is not an iPod/mobile issue, can you repeat the problem in L4 on your Mac/PC?

Is there a specific word at a reference you are trying. I just did a BWS on Christos and Louw-nida worked fine. I am doing this on the iPad, so unless we have a specific example there is no way to tell if it is a resource issue.

    Blessings,

It is not necessarily a problem with the resource as the way that any resource is used will differ between mobile platforms and desktop platforms because of the underlying software. On mobile platforms the problem can depend on whether you access the resource from the server or from your device (when downloaded). To illustrate, the TOC for Louw-Nida  is linked down to the subdomain level on Windows but not below that  e.g. I can link to domain 1 Geographical Objects and from there to 1A Universe, Creation but no further. On my Android, though,  there are links to 1.1, 1.2 1.3 and 1.4.  If there is a problem linking to 1A then it does not exist on Windows nor my Android device.

However, I have discovered some problems with LN links from its TOC and BWS so I will report them in the Android forum.

    Gee, Dave.

I wondered for a minute, whether you might mention the 1970's version known as the Ina-Gadda-Louw-Nida.
