Not only harmonies but others. In L3, I have almost 1400 resources. I am positive about 100 or so are PBB. Where in the world are the rest. Can someone please explain what's going on?
For example, the "Be" series from Wiersbe. I didn't use it much, but it's missing.
My harmonies are missing. There are others, but I haven't done a count yet.
A little more info would be helpful. Is this a fresh install? Were the resources there before and now missing? Have you run update now? Did the download complete and full indexing complete?
It is a fresh install of L4. It finished downloading and indexing the other day. I have always had the resources in L3. Just to be clear, there is no known reasons why I would no longer have them correct?
Here are some ideas that have led to solutions in the past...
1. Type "Update Now" into the command bar and let Logos 4 stay open for at least 15 minutes. There may be another large download there.
2. Type "scan c:\path to the libronix 3 resource location" into the command bar and hit enter
What if you're using the Mac version of the software and having the same problem?
Mark I am not a Mac user, however if there is a command bar at the top portion of the Mac Version of Logos 4 - you can try to follow the same two suggestions I posted above.
When I type update now, nothing happens. I will let you know if something happens eventually.
Just to be clear, there is no known reasons why I would no longer have them correct?
That is correct.
The only thing I can think of is whether some of your resources were purchased from someone other than Logos and you didn't synchronize your licenses online in 3.0 after adding them. If that's the case, Logos would not know to download them to you for 4.0.
The 'Be' series came in a Logos package so Logos should know you had them. Can't explain that.
Did you try 'Update Now' in the Command bar? That can take some time to search your installation and compare to what Logos says you should have, but might catch some missing resources.
These were with my original base package. I have synced my licenses on several occasions since it's been a couple of years that I've had these resources.
The update now command is not doing anything yet.
... still has a beta feel to me.
Do you have downloads set to download automatically? It is in your System Settings pane which is under the Tools menu.
If it is not set to automatically download I usually have to open this panel to see if updates are available. The default is to download automatically I believe.
I'd be frustrated, too, but I'm sure this will get ironed out.
It was set to "no"
Perhaps this will resolve it. I don't recall changing that setting. I'm pretty sure I never changed it. We shall see if that fixes it.
Great Community support so far. I'm impressed with the Logos community to be sure.
There is also a "Update Resources" command that you can try in the command bar.
Kevin if that doesn't fix it, go back to 3.0 and synchronize licenses and then do Update Now again
I type "update now" in the unlabeled text entry box at the top of the Home Page and get several choices. Which do I select?
Just type Update Now and hit your Enter key.
BTW Mark, I don't know if this functionality is in the Mac version.
