Still Another (?!) New Perspective on Paul *smile*

Peace and Joy and Every Blessing to my Logos Forums Brothers and Sisters.
The guidelines of the forums enjoin us not to get into theological debate; however, I think the following information might be beneficial to us in our roles in maintaining and promoting the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I do hope you find it interesting - or at least helpful to know what "the world" is thinking about our Beloved Christian Faith. *smile* Romans 12:15

Quite good, Mildord. Thank you. Especially the trailers at the bottom.

It's quite interesting that the author is not able to spell "Galatians" correctly!

The guy probably also believes that "the DaVinci Code" is historical truth. If you believe one conspiracy theory, you'll believe them all.

Wow. I sort of understand where this is coming from, but it hardly seems a balanced picture of the evidence. Yes, the collection was quite important. Yes, Paul was a polarizing figure. On the other hand he was able to successfully work with some figures for quite extended periods of time and the communities valued his letters enough to preserve and copy them.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Milford.
It does make me appreciate the number of LOGOS' (mostly) very 'solid', 'reliable' etc resources that we have access too (that I would probably put more 'stock' in).
But I do appreciate knowing where some of the other "religious" folks are "at" (even if this does sound a bit like the 'coloured' beads of the Jesus Seminar).
"To each (his or her) own" I guess?

Jesus Seminar?? Perhaps one or two of the names attached to this project are so minded, but check out the names listed on the website--these are many of the names we all have in our Logos libraries. Some of them have even been featured in Logos's Bible Study Magazine! They may mostly be of the "new perspective" school, but they are not (on the whole) a group from the fringes. They are some of the better known names in the Pauline Studies cabal at this point in time.
That said, I still reiterate my first comment...

Thanks Milford.
So far there is no snow on the ground here in South-Western Ontario.
But even if there was [and here Steve creatively attempts to keep within Forum guidelines!] we can just download our LOGOS resources. ie no more snowy walks to the near by Post Office to pick up our LOGOS CD [:)]
Blessings to you, Milford!
