What do I gain when I update my book files on a 3.0g upgrade?

I am seeing a link @ http://www.logos.com/support/download/30bupdate
To run an auto Update script http://www.logos.com/media/update/ResourceAutoUpdate.lbxupd to choose from a large list of updated book files available for download.
When I run this, it appears as if all my library items are being asked to download... couple of q's:
1. Will this overwrite my current library files (*.lbxlls) or cause duplicates... I have limited HD space.
2. What are the advantages to updating?
Thanks,
Brad

Q1: Yes ... it overwrites your older volumes. Logos has been VERY gracious in updating the Libronix3 resources, even though it's now on Logos4.
Q2: Some of the updates are quite serious (meaning they're filling in a previously missing segment that was delayed). Most are typos, etc. Either way, if you like Libronix3, it's good to have your resources updated. I keep mine always the latest, plus move them to a backup along with the licenses.
