I have a samsung galaxy sII with android 2.3.5 gingerbread and I dont want to run out of memory for running apps and pictures, video, etc. It's a good thing to be able to carry some of my reading books with me. I moved the Logos app and books to the additional SD card (expansion card) and the program works but cannot open my books. "could not open offline resource" is displayed. Any help will be appreciated. Logos is improving in many ways and I like that.

Thank you

There isn't a workaround for this, but the "memory" you refer to is either 16 GB of internal SD  or 32 GB. Have you really used all of that?

The memory in the phone is 16 GB

The SD card is 32 GB

Yes, memory is all in electronics and I need to move the most to the SD card

    Thank you for prompt response

The available space in the phone is 11.25 (not 16 GB as advertised)

    before you install any apps

Again Thank you for any help

So that is Total Space? What is the stated Available space? I have 13.23 GB of Total space.

Why not move photos, images or music to the external card as Logos will only work on the internal SD.

I have used roughly 0.5 GB for Logos app and 12 resources, so:

    • move resources and Logos back to USB storage (which is an internal SD)
    • (you may have to uninstall/reinstall + re-download resources if you cannot move them back)
    • limit the resources you download
    • be prepared to store/move music, pictures, videos etc to external SD or computer e.g. Samsung Kies app for PC

I tried your advice. Reformating everything: phone, usb storage, sd cards, etc.

I did a clean install of only logos, I really need more than couple books on my phone.

I dont have Wifi all the time and the reception on the cellular is poor in buildings.

I removed all the books with pictures, maps, charts, etc and kept only books with text

Still Im running out of the capacity and is not enough memory. I really want to use other

alternatives. But I dont want to carry my laptap everywhere. I sincerely appreciate your time

    and concern.

Which implies that you need more than 10 GB for resources on the phone.  I doubt that is realistic because you have to be online to run a search of any part of your library because the search indexes are only stored on the Logos server (it does not search the resources on your phone!).  Word Study, Passage Guide & Text Comparison also require you to be online  -->  after running it any resource links will use downloaded resources.
