In Jan I will be deploying to Kuwait with the Air Force as a Chaplain. I believe I will be doing a lot of counseling with Airmen/Soldiers dealing with Post Traumatic Stress. Anybody have a suggestion for a resource in Logos that handles the topic?
Not a resource in Logos, but here is a good, biblically sound, resource specifically for those in the armed services:

If the PTS is revealing in Anger, this resource can be helpful - Hunt, June. Biblical Counseling Keys on Anger: Facing the Fire Within. Dallas, TX: Hope For The Heart, 2008. logosres:bckanger;ref=Page.p_13;off=1427

Be prepared to do A LOT of marriage counseling my friend. I have been in conversation with a just returned Chaplains assistant and marriages need rescuing.
I really suggest you visit NANC.org and become a NANC certified counselor. I am completed my observation at the moment and will be certified shortly. I highly suggest you invest time in prayer and reading - I think you will find that a purely Biblical and non-integrationist position will give you the best help. I suggest reading books by Jay Adams, Paul Tripp, and Wayne Mac. You may want to start with Instruments in the Hands of the Redeemer and A Theology of Christian Counseling. You can also message me if you want to discuss what Biblical counseling looks like
