Christmas promotion and payment plans

The Christmas promotion states that a percentage of the amount spent during the period will be gifted in Logos cash. The fine print says that new payment plans are included in the calculation of the total amount spent but existing payment plans are not.
Does anyone know which portion of the new payment plan is included in the calculation? Is it only the first payment (made between now and Jan. 2nd) or the total purchase amount?
(I'm guessing the first option is correct, but I want to make sure)

It is my understanding that any new qualifying purchases made during the month of December are considered for the Logos Cash calculation. Whether you add it to an existing Payment Plan or create a new one. The Logos Cash calculation is calculated only on the amount of new qualifiying purchases made during the month of December. I was told that my purchases from the first of December (before the program was announced) would be calculated into my Logos Cash.
Example: Customer purchases $1200 in new qualifying resources during the month of December and puts them on an existing or new payment plan. The Logos Cash would be calculated on the $1200 qualifying resources purchased.

But LOGOS would be the BEST one to get your answer from.
