I am using 4.5 b8 and I am really trying hard to learn to use and like the notes system in Logos. I am tired of taking paper notes or notes in other programs.
I am terribly frustrated with how slow the whole program is. Granted, it may be because it is beta. I actually do not look forward to launching the program unless I have resigned myself to a patient, extended period of time. Even then, it is frustratingly slow. I do not remember it being this slow in the past. Speed is a major contributor for me not getting the full use from the app that I could. Likewise, I have stopped investing in resources until I can use it more efficiently.
Nevertheless, I am trying. To that end, I notice that Notes still has a bit to go before it comes close to the win version.
Are we expecting to see Mac Notes come closer to the win Notes by the final 4.5?
When I start a new note and begin typing, the note content (where I am typing) has a yellow background color (the text background). L4win does not do this and am wondering if this is normal for Mac or is there a setting I am missing?
