In tonight's service, videos wouldn't play, backgrounds wouldn't play.
Which platform (Mac or Windows) is failing to play video?
Are you referring to the new local video resources feature? or videos selected from the Store or My Content section?
PC. Local content didn't play while On-Air, but played while off-air. Backgrounds for Content did not play. Songs were fine.

Is this still repro'ing with Beta 9?
In this morning's service, all video play, but the song backgrounds would not loop. Just played through once and stopped. This has been happening through most of the betas. We were playing from our PC.
I'll just add that the background looping bug has been an issue we have experienced as well. We run two services and it is not uncommon for the same presentation to play perfectly for one service and then to have some of the loops stop after the first play in the other service. Our projection machine is a mac pro, though the presentations are largely assembled with PCs.

Yes, this seems to be a very random, yet often occurring issue for us. I don't think it's related to one specific background. Sometimes it loops, sometimes it doesn't. Been an ongoing bug for quite some time.
I'll spend some more time looking into it this afternoon. If you anyone else has any information on how to get a consistent repro let me know.
