Are you running SR 7 that was just released a day or so ago? There was a known bug in SR 6 in regard to crashing on startup.
I don't know. How would I find that out?
Well, if were in your shoes I would reboot the machine to see if you can get Logos started. If rebooting doesn't solve the problem, I would reinstall the application using the most recent version. You can download it off of this forum post using the link mentioned towards the bottom http://community.logos.com/forums/t/41740.aspx
If you do manage get get Logos started after a reboot, you can click on the 'About Logos 4' to give you the version number. The most recent is 4.3 SR-7
I have rebooted the machine and that did not make any difference.
I will do as you suggest and reinstall the application.

From the error message in posted Logos4.log file, would have suggested manually updating Logos 4 Mac application; wiki Mac Troubleshooting => Update Error has steps.
Considering size of Indexer.log file in posted zip file, when Logos 4 Mac is closed, may want to move files in Logging folder to trash.
