I don't want just hits (too many). I want actual articles that deal with the subject.
Assuming you have a journals collection created.
Open a basic search screen
Click where it says "All Text" and select search fields
Select "Large Text"
Click where it says "Entire Library" and select your journals collection
Run the search
I do not have very many journals, and some may have additional search fields that would be helpful.
You may also want to try using "Heading Text" for your search I get more hits using that than "Large Text", but still a manageable number.
John these are both useful suggestions the caveat is that if these fields are not tagged in the logos resource, then you won't find the article.
As you discover good articles on this topic, you might want to consider adding them to the Righteousness reading list, which nobody has adopted yet (so it's still blank):

I tried this and it reduced the number of hits quite a bit. But I was hoping it would pull up only articles with "righteousness" in the article title. How do I do that?
I don't think there is any way to do that. Title might seem like it would be the search field you'd want to use, but it appears to be used only to tag the titles of objects like images. Not article titles. Anyway, a search for righteousness in Title turned up zilch for me, and I've got a pretty large library.
I was hoping it would pull up only articles with "righteousness" in the article title.
That sounds reasonable. For some unknown reason journal articles have never been tagged with the article title. Seems like an obvious thing to do but it hasn't been.
As far as I can tell, the Title that is searchable is, as Rosie says, not the article title at all but titles of objects. Here's a description from one of only a couple of journals that seem to have this tagging (JBL):
Heading and Large text should produce hits in article titles (if they are tagged for either), but will give a bunch more.
Rosie submitted a suggestion that might include what you (and I) would like on Logos' UserVoice site: http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/1358871-ability-to-search-within-headings-and-or-table-of-
I'm note sure from the wording if Logos would say that Heading and Large text searches fulfill that request. What we are talking about here is a search restricted to titles not just including titles. I think that is needed.
Thanks for all your guidance. After trying various I find the search parameter, "large text" probably the best for what I am trying to do.
It led me to a section in the Scottish theologian George Smeaton's powerful article on righteousness ( Section 1.—The Epistles of Paul on the Righteousness of God.) in the below.
Quote from it:
"Theobedience of Christ realizes the lofty ideal or goal set before the human race; and on this account it is the greatestevent in the world’s history. He was acting for His people, and they wererepresentatively in Him. The entrance of Christ’s sinless humanity, with thelaw in His heart, became the central point of all time, to which previous ageslooked forward, and after ages look back. He was the living law, the personallaw,—an event with a far more important bearing than any other that everoccurred. "
Praise God for, the righteousness of God-in Christ that is mine/ours by faith!!
