customizing home page in logos 4

I just upgraded to logos 4 and wanted to know if it is possible to customize the home page. Specifically i wanted to know if it is possible to take off or add items to the toobar at the top. For example I want to take the lectionary off and add something else

No it isn't. Maybe Logos has plans for this in the future, but all you can do is reorder them now.

In the bottom left of the homepage are your customize options. everything you can do to the library you can do from here. The best thing you can do to remove the lectionary is to create some readings and put lectionary at the bottom of the list so that it is not one of the first options.

Should I assume I don't have an option for the Lectionary on the home page because I downloaded the engine and did not upgrade?

If, when you search your library you find a lectionary, I think it should be on the "Ribbon." If not, try making a Reading plan of it and set it for a weekly reading. That should get it into the Ribbon.
