HWere are these resources?

OK, after sorting and sifting through some minor inaccuracies in names, I have checked out all the resources in the Catholic Foundations Library. There are a few I have no idea what they are, is anyone familiar with these or is there a different name being used?

1. "An Exposition of the Acts of the Apostles" by John MacEvilly - I see other Exposition resources by MacEvilly, but no mention of this anywhere. Is it being developed but not on prepub?

2. "NAS Greek-Hebrew Dictionary" - no idea what this is, I didn't see it under NAS or "Greek-Hebrew Dictionary" unless I missed it.

There was a similar title that used to come as part of the Lockman Foundations NASB Library for Logos 2.1. I am not sure if it is the same or something different. The reason for this resource as oppossed to the standard Strong's Numbers dictionary was that NASB had slightly different Strong's Numbering and so need a different dictionary. Maybe this is keyed to the 1977 NAS translation. Maybe someone who has this collection can clarify about this dictionary.

Well, there is a "NAS Hebrew-Aramaic and Greek Dictionary" (you'll find it as a part of http://www.logos.com/product/8734/nas-electronic-bible-library listed as two ressources)

New American Standard Hebrew-Aramaic and Greek Dictionaries is the Lockman title and it was tied to Strong's Numbers in the NASB95 bible that came with Libronix (L3). It was a somewhat "unique" system being incompatible with Enhanced Strong's Lexicon and Strong's numbers in other bibles. The NASB95 that comes with L4 is now aligned with Strong's numbers in other bibles and lexicons so the (Lockman) NAS Dictionaries have no value.

Even if the advertised NAS Dictionaries are different I wouldn't rate them higher than 1 star!

Thomas. On the title page it is called Hebrew-Aramaic Dictionary of the New American Standard Exhaustive Concordance Updated Edition. Odd the title in the Library is different. But I think this is it.

I think this is a different thing.

There are two resources, one a Dictionary, one a Concordance. Both come with the NAS package that is cheaper than the NASB alone.

The dictionary really is very small, it gives glosses to Strong's numbers. The Concordance is a concordance - must have been impressive in print, but is nearly obsolete as you can do a full-text search on the NASB in Logos. It links Strong's, though.

Thanks for highlight that point, I don't think I've used this since using L4, or strong's numbers all that much for that matter. I'll look at 'hiding' this resource next time I do a clean up.

Like the older dictionary from Lockman, this maybe useful for those who are concerned about increasing their resource count. [6]

Spot on Mick, its the other side of the coin. What is interesting on that product page is the see inside, button, haven't seen that before on a product page.

That is the first dictionary. The second is called "Greek Dictionary of the New American..... " (use TOC to navigate). The Concordance is a separate resource. One can speculate as to how these titles were packaged in the print edition.
