Greetings all:
I have only two favorite holidays: Mothers' Day and Thanksgiving.
Mothers' Day for obvious reasons - I have a great mom and am married to one of the best moms ever.
Thanksgiving is special because we gather around the simple idea of being grateful. There are no expectations, nor questions like, "What did you buy me?" Thanksgiving is special because of family, friends and food. About the only complaint of how it could be done better is directed toward our favorite football team (or least the team we wanted to win).
I wish there were more days to honor mom and to say "Thanks" and fewer days spent complaining about the gifts I'm offered or the ways they were offered.
Chuck
