How do I cancel an update?

I jumped the gun and typed "set update channel to beta". Logos began downloading an update, but before it was finished I read the wiki and decided I'd made a mistake. I typed in "set update channel to default".

When the update, which I assume was a beta version, finished downloading and started to install, I cancelled the install.

However, now when I start Logos it asks if I want to install an update. So far I've said no. However, how do I get rid of this pending update (which I assume is a beta version) on my computer so I won't accidentally install the beta and end up on the beta channel?

Good question, I've never tried that!

This is only a guess therefore: you might want to look at C:\Users\<YOU>\AppData\Local\Logos4\Install directory for a recently dated update script. Rename/move/delete that and you may be ok.

Start Regedit.exe and delete the Setup entry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

There was an additional key. I deleted it and the prompt to update was absent the next time I started Logos4. Your solution worked. Thank you very much.

Dave, the key was empty, plus this seems to apply to Windows itself. DominicM recommended looking under Logos4 and his solution worked well. Thanks.
