Help!!!

I have tried multiple times to enable logging by both the holding down the control key and double clicking on the .js file for permanent logging....It stated logos 4 logging was enabled but I can't find the logs anywhere...

I see no logos log files folder anywhere...I am starting logos 4...get the splash screen then it drops on me....i try the control key and it allows me to get to a blank screen or login without....it will go to sign in but cancels about 20 seconds into that....

I really have no idea what is going on.....

Logos Log Files should be in your Documents folder i.e. \Documents\Logos Log Files. Otherwise look in your \temp folder (type %temp% into Windows Explorer address box). Upload files only from the last couple of days (look under Date Modified).

If that is unsuccessful, go to Control Panel | Programs and Features, right click Logos Bible software 4 and select Repair. Enable permanent logging again, then start L4 and upload logs if necessary.

You will find the log file(s) in a folder called Logos Log Files inside your Documents folder (My Documents
in XP). You might find one or more of the following files:
PrerequisitesInstall.log, DigitalLibraryInstall.log, Logos4setup.log,
Logos4.log, Logos4Indexer.log.

What version of windows are you running ? So there is no folder Logos Log Files in side your Documents folder ?

This is connected with a change to your licences. The previous time this happened the user fixed it by reinstalling Logos!

Ok tried repair to no avail.... went on and uninstalled logos4 and logos4 prerequisites. now I cant install the lgos 4 prereq.

I hoped you would come back for suggestions as removing PreRequisites was not necessary.

Please upload some setup/install logs, which may be in your temp folder (type %temp% into Windows Explorer as per a previous post) if not in the regular Documents folder. You can enable permanent logging and re-run Setup if necessary.

I really hate computers......Just now I went to the logos log files and deleted the three files that were there....then I enabled logging then I restarted the logos4setup.exe file...it has done its thing. I saw that it was setup....it asked me to sign in and I have and now it is taking quite a while to preparing to download just after the sign in screen.....I am wondering if this is the big download......seems like it might.....so it is moving forward.....

P.S. It is now downloading 12 GB.... I guess Im back...
