Access choice

I do not have an unlimited data plan for my Android phone but would love to use my Logos more often than another Bible app I have installed.  Is there a way to have a choice to stay offline to access my downloaded library without putting phone into "plane" mode every time?

Hi Alan - and welcome to the forums

I don't believe there is any way to "stay offline" in the Android app but if you only access resources which you have downloaded, that shouldn't hit your data usage (I am sure there will be some background traffic)

In a future release - as per http://community.logos.com/forums/t/34373.aspx - there is intended to be better library filtering which may make it easier to find resources which have been downloaded

    Hope this helps a little

Neither do I. But you can stop data traffic and still receive phone calls. Go to Settings | Wireless and Network | Mobile Networks and untick "Use Packet Data". You can toggle that when ready.  Note that the phone will switch from Packet Data to Wi-Fi if that is enabled and in range e.g. at home.
