Where have my Priority volumes gone?

I do not know how I have done this but I have managed to prioritise several series within my library at some point in the past, but now they are reporting as '0 volumes'

When searching via the passage guide for John 1:6–13 my wbc commentary is not used until I have pressed 'More ...', where it is now item 43 out of 48.

There have been a few resource updates since the prioritisation and the only thing that I can think of is that the meta data for these series was changed and the prioritisation lists did not handle it. When I have the opportunity, I will re-index to see if that nails it but I would hope that prioritisation is not dependent upon indexing (I cannot see why it should be), and if it is not then what have I done?

I've had this happen before too. I believe it was because I changed one of the resource names in the series. A beta release was do out the same day so I waited for the release before reporting it. I thought I tested to see if it had been fixed but maybe I hadn't. At any rate, adding the series back fixed it for me.

It happened to me in the Beta program, after reinstalling or re-indexing (I am not sure). I just deleted the empty items and prioritized the series again, It works since then fine.

This happens when Logos does a metadata update and changes the series name. Were you on the beta? I remember they did this at some point and I had to re-add several collections.

For example,"The IVP New Testament Commentary" is changed to "IVP New Testament Commentary",

and "The Word Biblical Commentary" is now just "Word Biblical Commentary"

and "The Be Series by Wiersbe" is now "Wiersbe's Be Series"

and "The UBS Translator Handbooks" is now "United Bible Societies' Handbooks".

When it happened to me, I just pulled one vol of the series back over and it "found" all the rest. I think that is now normal - put one of a series in priority list and it adds them all.

Many thanks everyone ... the meta data had been changed (Logos removed 'The' from the front of the series name). For each series, I simply added the series again, moved it up to the old position and then removed the old series.

I wonder if it could be considered a bug that changing the series name is not reflected in the priority lists automatically. Given the number of operations that use priorities I still find it worrying that it might not be up-to-date or working as expected/edited it.

Obviously if it is a remnant of the Beta process then that is fine ... but I would like to know if future changes to the name of any given series will be reflected in the priority list automatically, an unreliable core list like this has obvious implications for the efficiency any search.
