I’d like, when clicking in an English word, to have in the Pritoritizing pane, the meaning in the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary and in the Merriam-Webster's Spanish-English Dictionary too, just like in Bible dcitionaries. My brethren, thank you!

  • Wonder about right click on a word, click selection, then click "Power Lookup" ?

Library prioritization specifies preferred search order of resources when looking for something: e.g. English Headword.

Wiki Getting Started with Logos => Prioritize Library has prioritization Tips and Links.

    Thank you KS4J!

But I'm still wonder if there are macros in L4 or something like that. Let me tell you, I don't speak English, but I read it a little bit. So, it is urgent for me to speed up my reading just by a click, and, in the "Information pane", have both, an English Dictionary, and a English-Spanish Dictionary opened. Power lookup works, but too many clicks (if you multiply!).

have both, an English Dictionary, and a English-Spanish Dictionary opened.

Open both resources in the same pane (or different ones) and link them  e.g. set B.

You can prioritize the Collegiate Dictionary but it must be higher than any (English) Bible Dictionary. The alternative is to toggle "Send hyperlinks here" on that resource as you don't need to Prioritize.

Note:  I don't have the English-Spanish (Spanish-English?) resource so I don't know for sure that this will work

Apologies: also not have an English-Español dictionary.

For grins, prioritized couple dictionaries and linked four resources together in Link Set D:

Now can double click on a word in ESV to open Vine's or COED to appropriate entry, then link set propagates to other resources.  Changed COED prioritization after double clicking "brothers" did not change Vine's (headword not in index).  Personally learned Vines Complete Expository Dictionary does not have complete spelling for all word variations.

Likewise learned a Thesaurus does not have an entry for brothers so previous word remains.

With the Spanish-English Merriam Webster dictionary installed in your Logos desktop application, you can double-click a Spanish word in the Spanish Bible and Logos will open the definition of the word in the Spanish-English dictionary.
