I've been waiting to purchase these until they are available as downloads. Come on, what is the hold-up? Everything else in your catalogue has been available as a download for over a year now. Can't you convince Fortress to let you do it? They're the dinosaurs now. CD-ROMs are so last century. Fortress is clearly capable of letting you do download versions as shown by this collection and this one. Or did someone just forget about these orphans?
Perhaps part of the problem is that these all come with the CD-ROM and physical book too, and perhaps you have warehouse stock you still need to clear out before you can begin selling them as downloads, but I don't want the physical books. Those are so last century, too. I don't have shelf space for them. I would never use them as physical books. Also I already own Bruggemann in hard cover and don't want another copy.
Hi Rosie,
We've been working with Augsburg Fortress on these titles. Most of these will be available within the next couple weeks.
Yippee! What timing!
Wow Rosie! Way to flex your muscles. [:)]

I guess they realize there's no other way to squeeze more money out of someone who already owns everything else in their catalogue that I'll ever buy. [;)]

A lot of these titles were sold as print books with a CD-ROM, but good to hear Fortress Press is now going to make them a download and move away from that model of selling.

Kent, any chance a bundle/collection might be coming? [:D]
So what should we do with all those Logos discs we used to receive in the mail?
I have an entire shoebox full, like...

It seems that saving these discs are no longer needed, since everything is stored in the cloud.
And selling them isn't a permissible option either, is it?
You can sell them if you transfer your license to them ($20 fee) as well.
I'm not planning to give up Logos resources until... death.
So then, are these discs useless?
In all likelihood, yes. I did have a CD-ROM that I purchased from a third party. Although the license was on my account at one time, somehow it was taken off. When I called Logos to get it taken care of, I used my "proof of purchase" to get things straitened out. It is possible that I would not have needed the disc, but it helped.
They make good coasters. Here are some other ideas: 101 things to do with CDs and DVDs.
