Since my Aramaic is a bit rusty, does Logos have an English translation of the Targums yet?
mm
I would also find that valuable, I have the Targums, but I studied Hebrew in undergrad and seminary, so an English translation would make these resources useful.
That would certainly be good. Took a while but we now have the Mishnah and TWO Talmud translations. We even have translations of little scraps of papyri found all over the middle east and Egypt. There's public domain Targum translations for the downloading. Therefore ....
But I will say my Aramaic Bible (Targums with apparatus / notes) continues to occupy a favored location in the kitchen. The parallels to the NT are sure interesting.

Denise where are these found? If they are in the public domain users could create personal books.
Thanks!
They're 'all over the place' primarily because of the interest in aramaic. Etheridge (1800s) is the most well known on the Penteteuch.
Here's a good one below (Internet Archive) demonstrating the available pdfs (a search word 'targum' <> 'targums'). If you allow for german, the list increases dramatically.

Note the many studies on the NT relative to the Targums, Philo, etc.
And Etheridge specifically:

Older translations of some of the targums can be found here: http://targum.info/targumic-texts/
Some more available via links here: http://huc.edu/libraries/exhibits/rablit/targum.php
All extant targums are being translated as part of the Aramaic Bible Series in progress by T & T Clark / Liturgical Press - hope/expect it to be available in Logos eventually.
Thanks [:D]
